Halloween is a fun time, but make sure it is also safe for your pets.

Halloween, that time of the year that comes around once a year, and is very unique because everything around you is all about costumes; scary ones, cartoon characters, princesses, everything you name it. Don’t forget about the pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and fall festivals. There are so many fun things to look forward to.  There is always something to keep in mind, safety.  How about the safety of your pets?  That is as important as anything or anyone else.

Have you heard of ASPCA?  It stands for “The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Check out their very helpful page here.  They have a great article about pointers to make sure your pet is safe during the enjoyable one time a year Halloween Holiday. Click here for more details.

Make sure to keep those pointers in mind. The one that I find the most important is the phone number for ASPCA. You do not ever want to use it, but if you need to, you know where to get it. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center phone number is at (888) 426-4435.
