This past Saturday afternoon, I had a very nice relaxing time in Tarpon Springs, FL. If you have never been to Tarpon Springs, FL, you would be greatly surprised. This place is known for their huge Greek population. In addition, located, just north of Clearwater Beach, their beach is oh so beautiful especially with the palm trees right on the beach like all of those beach pictures that you so dream of being at. We were at Fred Howard Park, which is nice and convenient since the parking is close to the beach. You do have to pay a flat fee of $5, but you are right there, and do not have to walk very far whatsoever.
It was a windy Saturday in February, but the sun was shining so bright, and the temperature was a moderate 75 degrees. There were quite a bit of people, more than I had expected, but I just felt very perfect and relaxed.
After our trip to the beach we went to dinner at Riverside Grille House Veranda. I was very excited to try a new place. Do you ever feel like you always go to the same places over and over again? I do, and we always try to go to a new place, but often times it never happens.
What makes Riverside Grille House Veranda so special is that you can sit outside on the roof top with your dog, and enjoy the view at the top. Here’s a shot of the view. Isn’t it spectacular?
Our food was as wonderful as our view, our experience, everything. I had no complaints. We had Almond Crusted Grouper, Baked Brie, and Ribeye Steak. All were wonderful and very tasty.
There is one last thing I must mention about what I loved about Riverside Grille House Veranda. They have a most amazing Zen Garden, Fountain, Fire place all in one decorated with Rocks and Sea Glass. You can sit around it, and listen to the music playing in the background. It was a wonderful night.
I hope you can get an opportunity to check this place out, and let me what you think.
